Escondido, CA (May 30, 2025) – A 20-year-old man from Escondido tragically lost his life in a traffic collision on Wednesday evening, May 29, at the intersection of Centre City Parkway and Nutmeg Street in Escondido. The crash was reported at approximately 7:35 PM, when a Hyundai Ioniq, driven by a 67-year-old man, attempted to turn left onto northbound Centre City Parkway from Nutmeg Street, resulting in a collision with the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was traveling south on Centre City Parkway as the vehicle attempted the turn. Upon impact, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle and onto the roadway.
