Our Deldar Legal Career Path Scholarship is in partnership with California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA). We believe law firm scholarships and our other community-focused endeavors reflect our dedication to supporting the community that supports us.

Our Deldar Legal Career Path Scholarship provides financial support to students who aspire a future in the legal field. By alleviating some of the economic pressures associated with pre-legal education, we aim to help students concentrate on their academic and career goals. We believe that by supporting the educational ambitions of students, we are investing in the future of the legal profession and the broader community.

We are proud to award two law firm scholarships to deserving students for the 2024-25 academic year. These funds can be used for various educational expenses, including tuition, books, LSAT preparation, and other necessary academic materials. Our goal is to support students in their educational pursuits. These funds can help them on their path to becoming future leaders in the legal profession.

The scholarship is open to current Cal State LA students in the College of Business and Economics. To qualify, students must:

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, showcasing their academic dedication and excellence.
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the legal field, evidenced through coursework, extracurricular activities, or personal statements.
  • Be undergraduate or graduate students, reflecting our commitment to supporting diverse academic journeys.

Why Cal State LA?

This scholarship is especially meaningful because Partner and Trial Attorney David Cienfuegos attended Cal State LA for his undergraduate degree. His time at the university significantly shaped his path to becoming a successful attorney. We want to give back to the school that helped David. By offering this scholarship, we want to encourage future lawyers who will make a difference in the world. This scholarship represents more than just financial aid—it’s a commitment to empowering students with a passion for justice and a drive to make a difference.

Investing In Local Education

We also focus on supporting young learners in our local community. Deldar actively sponsors Horace Mann Elementary School in Beverly Hills through various initiatives. Each year, we donate essential school supplies to ensure students have the tools they need to succeed in their studies. We also sponsor extracurricular activities encouraging creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. These efforts directly impact the students and teachers by creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment. By partnering with Horace Mann Elementary, we help make learning accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for children.

Not Today Cancer

Our philanthropic passion extends to local organizations as well. We are a proud supporter of Not Today Cancer, an organization dedicated to advancing pediatric cancer research and providing support to families. By raising funds for innovative treatments and fostering hope for children battling cancer, Not Today Cancer is a wonderful cause. Through sponsorships, event participation, and direct donations, we believe others should support this organization too!
