Glenn County, CA (August 3, 2025) – A 31-year-old man from Jackson County, Oregon, was killed early Friday morning in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 near County Road 68. The fatal incident occurred at approximately 3:15 AM and involved a single vehicle that veered off course in rural Glenn County.
First responders, including paramedics, assessed the scene and attempted to assist the driver. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. No other individuals were reported to be involved in the crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving southbound on I-5 when his vehicle drifted into the center median. In an apparent attempt to correct course, he swerved back across the southbound lanes before losing control. The vehicle overturned and came to rest in an agricultural field west of the highway.
